Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation Launches New Service

In line with its continued efforts to offer optimum services to customers, the Inheritance Department at the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) has launched an initiative to provide enabling services to beneficiaries at their homes, particularly widows and the elderly. Customers who are sixty years old and above, as well as widows passing through the Idda period (a waiting period for women who are divorced or whose spouses have passed away) may contact AMAF by phone to request for this service. The Inheritance Department’s team members will then visit their homes to deliver the required services. His Excellency Khaled Al Thani, Deputy Secretary General of AMAF, said: “We seek to provide the best innovative services to our customers in order to meet their various demands in line with the directives of our wise leadership.” Commenting on the initiative, Zainab Jumaa Al Tamimi, Deputy Director of Minors Affairs at AMAF, said: “The initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to interact with the elderly and recognize their valuable contributions to our nation. It also aligns with our religion’s principles to enhance social solidarity in our society.”
