Recently, the Department of AMAF Strategy and Development concluded a number of training courses and workshops shared by all staff and aimed at identifying best applied practices in the area of Systems Management for Quality, Environmental, Health and Occupational Safety. The event reflects the Foundation efforts aimed at establishing a new stage of development and modernization in line with the vision of our wise Government to provide best services for all groups of the community.
The training and workshops focused on promoting the awareness of quality culture and the necessity to keep and maintain the environment and care for health and occupational safety by adhering to correct environmental practices and positive health habits.
Kholoud Matar bin Yalil, Head of AMAF Excellence and Administrative Development Section assured the fact that AMAF staff provided more than 50 developmental proposals during the training, and the majority of them will be implemented in order to promote various works aspects throughout all AMAF departments.
She further added that these activities manifest the Department commitment to keep, maintain and care for the environment in line with the government's trends in this area and the interest in green buildings and water and power consumption. Further, she added that the Foundation launched a large-scale awareness campaign to encourage employees and customers for recycling process. And for this purpose a number of containers were placed in the main areas for papers collection in coordination with "Emirates Environment Group".
She further indicated the Foundation's interest in having the changes made based on collective/ joint efforts shared positively by all employees to ensure that goals are completed smoothly without any obstacles or undue resistance for change.
