Last week AMAF organized a guiding program which focused on 440 minors and students admitted in preparatory and secondary levels with Dubai government schools. The program included a number of awareness lectures and was held in coordination with the Knowledge Authority in Dubai for minors and Juma Al-Majid Center for Culture and Heritage. This program which is entitled as “ Nibras " aims to develop the skills of participating students for rehabilitation purposes and integrate minors with their peers, direct their attitudes, build up their personalities as well as developing their knowledge.
The program was organized by Programs and Rehabilitation Section /Department of Minors Development and supervised by a Amina Mohammad," the program coordinator " and Wael Al-Naqbi, a coordinator assistant and Alia Obeid, a program's executive .
Tayib Al Rayyis, Secretary–General of AMAF mentioned that this program comes within AMAF continuous efforts that aim to support national human resources development and enhance its services toward community in line with the operational programs plan for the year 2010 in order to achieve institutional objectives for fulfilling minors needs.
Al-Rayyis mentioned that AMAF relocation to the new premises to will have a considered impact in increasing activities, events and services rendered by AMAF to its beneficiary customers of minors and female care-takers . He also indicated that this project corresponds with the directives of Dubai Government and the strategy of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, that aim to render services to all categories in a modern way that reflects the originality of Dubai and UAE image.
In this context, Al-Rayyis mentioned also that the new corporate location is situated at Al Nahda – Dubai and constructed on an area of 260,000 Sq. Ft. It consists of 11 levels costing AED75,000,000. He added “In addition to the economic and investment objectives of the project established in collaboration with Dubai Club of Special Sports, we hope that AMAF will contribute in promoting waqf awareness, as well as supporting efforts that call upon reviving this good Sunna in different categories of the community and draw a good image of humanitarian and social objectives manifested in waqf development, and variety of its outlets and creation of further outlets that render services to all categories in the community ”.
