AWQAF & MINORS AFFAIRS FOUNDATION

	Abstract
	Based on the Awqaf & Minor Affairs Foundation (( qualified minor & growing endowment)), the Guardians & Minors Relations Department are aware of interacting & communicating with the minors & help them be healthily, socially, educationally qualified to integrate them with the society so that they might feel safe and confident. “A Day With Me” program, praised by the guardians, minors and society, is created on the basis of the significant role played by the foundation in providing all functions and programs for the minors. That is why the foundation was keen to execute it for the second year respectively and this comes within a well-studied strategic plan.
	Objectives
	- To enhance the confidence of every minor & to find a kind of social communication. - To communicate the mission of the foundation in providing the services for the minors and guardians. - To promote our presence and achieve a leading reputation and institutional excellence.
	The idea of the activity
	- To keep the minors & guardians aware of the role of foundation, its activities, services and achievements. - To make the minor feel that somebody cares for, helps him - To plant the confidence for the minor & create a friendly environment among the minors, guardians and the foundation. - To communicate a message for the society indicating that there are a class of society afflicted by losing its bread-winner, so they need your social and moral support. - To abide by the will of our great Prophet who ordered us to be one body and to care for the orphan till he becomes adult.

	Minors aged 3 -12 years old, males Minors aged 3-17 years old, females Guardians
	Teamwork
	To execute such activity, Administrative Decision has been issued in respect of forming the functions committee, chaired by Mrs. Director of Guardians & Minor Relations Department. The said committee constituted 4 work teams as follows: the administrative & financial team, media team, public relation team and the function organization team. Then, such teams started to distribute the duties & held meetings to keep informed with the steps recently taken and to do the proper requirements for such functions.

	Activity Program	up
	- The theatre is inaugurated by the presence of Her highness Sheikha/ Mariyam, daughter of Shaikh/ Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister, Dubai Ruler and senior officials and sponsors. - Holy Quran – Minor student - Foundation Speech – Minor student - Opera performed by a group of school students - A play of (stroke of luck) performed by the minors- Scenario prepared by Wedad Salem Al Mahmoud, - Recitation - Honoring the gifted & preponderant minors - Honouring the ideal mother - Honouring the sponsors and participants - Schools will have a significant role as they will perform a play titled, “Stroke of Luck”. Of course, we did not ignore our children as we are preparing a yard including: Glass coloring 5 rubber games of high degree of safety Painting, pots coloring and handicrafts Kites designing and flying them away - Hospitality performance, inspired by the UAE heritage, showing the some ancient professions by the female students & to entertain the visitors (male/female schools) as well as we will prepare an exhibition dedicated for the gifted minors including all schools of all stages starting from the kindergarten to the secondary school in the following hobbies: Painting Drawing Flowers arrangement, Henna competitions Handicrafts We will not forget the mother as we promised to honor her through the Ideal Mother Competition as per human standards as follows: Educational Standard: It focuses on the extent of communication & interaction between the school & school through the activities and creative work provided by the student to the teacher. Psychological Standard: It sheds light on the mother abilities & her self-confidence reflected on the student personality and his/ her self-confidence. Family Standard: It focuses on the extent of compatibility between the family members, the mother compatibility with her family members and the extent of understanding and care for her children. Cultural Standard: It does not necessarily mean that the mother should be educated. However, it concentrates on her cultural background & the extent of making use of such background in favor of her children and urging them to excel in their education. Religious Standard: It focuses on the student background for the concept of our tolerant religion instructions irrelative to the syllabus. At the end of the ceremony, the foundation will honor those who contributed in achieving this great function by giving the rewards, certificates of merits containing words of gratitude and appreciation for the contributing persons and bodies.
