The Awqaf & Minors’ Affairs Foundation will organize an international conference on the investment of awqaf money, titled “Dubai International Conference on waqf investments”, under the patronage of his Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al-Maktoum, vice-president of the state, Prime minister, Ruler of Dubai, president of the Awqaf & Minors’ Affairs Foundation, with a wide participation of world and Arab Waqf foundations, and in presence of experts in the field of awqaf and Islamic social and economic development in the world, between the 4th and 6th of February.

The Secretary General of the Awqaf and Minors’ Affairs Foundation stated that the conference will come within the strategic plan of the foundation in building partnerships and strategic alliances, and in search for new practices and innovations for the word waqf foundations in the field of awqaf investment, and which enhance the potentials and complementarity of the financial and investment thinking of the foundations with other similar waqf foundations in the world, and which also provides all the workers and agents therewith with more development and success.

He said during the press conference held yesterday for the announcement of the events of the International conference, in the presence of the sponsors, that the good awqaf investment is achieved through the safety of assets and a sustainable growth for benefit, and via a shari’a which complies with the nature of awqaf, noting that the conference aims at finding an investment strategic plan enjoying the participation of waqf leaders.
