Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF), the Dubai Government entity mandated to supervise Awqaf and the well-being of minors who have lost one or both parents, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with B&F Sports LLC - AC Milan Soccer School Dubai.
The MoU was formalized at a reception held in Dubai Family Village by His Excellency Tayeb Abdel Rahman Al-Rais, Secretary-General of AMAF who welcomed the guests of honor H.E. Liborio Stellino, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE and H.E. Giovanni Favilli, the Consul General of Italy in Dubai, Bruno Bertucci, General Manager of AC Milan Soccer School Dubai, Fabio Zucchelli, Deputy Manager of B&F Sports - AC Milan Soccer School Dubai, and Silivio Broli, Milan Junior.
The memorandum mandates cooperation in joint projects, including training AMAF’s minors to qualify them for sports activities organized by the AC Milan Soccer School Dubai and activating initiatives that enhance youth engagement, social solidarity and overall welfare of the Dubai community.
The collaboration comes in the line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to develop young local talent and the skills that build a cohesive and cooperative community.
Speaking on the agreement, His Excellency Tayeb Abdel Rahman Al-Rais said: “We are pleased to strengthen our collaboration with B&F Sports and AC Milan Soccer School Dubai and further our objective to provide training and support for our minors. The values of sharing, teamwork and all the benefits that sports training brings will add immensely to the development and education of our minors’.”
Commenting the signature of the MoU, His Excellency Liborio Stellino, said: “It will greatly benefit AMAF minors as football and sport in general are key pillars of personal and social growth. This MoU is also another telling example of the strong and multifaceted bonds of genuine friendship between Italy and UAE”
