News on the Department of Qualification and Social Programs   

1 - Honoring Ceremony for Minor Orphans

A honoring party for minors was organized in Dar Al Nadwa on 7/5/2009, under the patronage of Ittihad Association. 135 minors attended the event.

2 - My Talent In My Painting

The program “My Talent In My Painting” was organized in the center of Rouwaq Bin Aousha, on 9/4/2009, and 25 minors who are gifted with creative skills in painting were (selected), and their paintings were sold at an amount of AED 8,000.

3 - The Little Tradesman

Within the scope of the event of Mohammed Bin Rashid Foundation, aiming at supporting the youth projects, The Little Tradesman competition was organized under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai Mall, from 1/4/2009 until 4/4/2009. 300 young people, including 6 minors, participated in the event.

4 - Summer 2009, Child City

The Department of Qualification and Social Programs organized the program of Summer 2009, Child City, where 59 minors joined the Child City

5 - Participation in the Gathering of Arab Orphans

The Department of Qualification and Social Programs participated in the Emirates delegation organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs in the gathering of Arab orphans in Jordan. The number of minors was 2.

6 - Orphans’ Entertainment Day

The Department of Qualification and Social Programs participated in the Entertainment Day organized by the Dubai Municipality, in cooperation with the Center of Leisure. 31 minors participated in the event.

7 - Conferences Program

The Department of Qualification and Social Programs organized on 23/11/2008 awareness increasing conferences at Sharawi School and Dubai High School and it acquired a 99% customer satisfaction and a rate of 87% as for Dubai High School.

8 - Easy Program

The Department of Qualification and Social Programs organized private lessons in each area of Dubai (Deira, Bur Dubai, Hatta). The number of minors was 88.

9 - National Day Event

The Department of Qualification and Social Programs organized the National Day event in the Heritage Village on 2-3/12/2008 and it included several activities:

First Day: a play (theater) “ A Bit of Charity”

Second Day: Cultural and Heritage Competitions

10 - Orphans’ Open Day

The AMAF Department of Qualification and Social Programs participated with the Ministry of Social Affairs in the Orphans’ Open Day event organized at the Center of Princess Hiya Bint Al Hussein, and Modhesh City on 25/6/2009. The number of minors was 13.

11 - Modhesh City

The AMAF Department of Qualification and Social Programs participated with the Authority of Culture in the program of Modhesh City on 2/7/2009. The number of minors was 25.

12 - Equestrian Program

Within the scope of the Summer 2009 Program prepared by the Department of Qualification and Social Programs, it was cooperated with Al Ahli Equestrian Club where 16 minors joined on 24/6/2009.

13 - Computer Sessions (TOEFL, Computer)

Within the Summer 2009 Program prepared by the Department of Qualification and Social Programs, it was cooperated with the institutes of Bur Dubai and Deira. The number of minors reached 43 minors in Bur Dubai, and 40 minors in Deira.

14 - Summer Training in Governmental Departments

Within the scope of the Summer 2009 Program prepared by the Department of Qualification and Social Programs, 45 minors joined the summer training in the Dubai government departments
