The Department of Personal Status in Dubai held a coordinative meeting with the Awqaf & Minors' Affairs Foundation to discuss various issues related to inheritances and limitation of succession.

The delegation has perused the procedures progress at the Department of Personal Status. SALAH AL HASHIMI, Head of the Inheritances Section, has presented a brief about the progress of the operations at the inheritances section as well as the Personal Status Conciliation Section, and the procedures of opening a file for Certification of Limitation of Succession and the requirements thereof. This is in addition to the procedures of opening the inheritances file.

AL HASHIMI has reviewed the general procedures for marriage and some circulars and resolutions related to the inheritances section. Dubai Courts have provided the representatives of the Awqaf & Minors' Affairs Foundation with the statement of requests. Such statement relates to the procedures of the inheritances and documents required for obtainment of Certificate of Limitation of Succession. The same is translated into five languages.

Dr. SAMIR GABAG, Judge in the Court of Personal Status, MOHAMED ABDULRAHMAN, Director of the Personal Status Department, ABDULLA AL ZAROONI, Head of the Personal Status Conciliation Division, ALI AHMED, Personal Status Controller and MOHAMED     AL AJAMANI, the Secretary, have all attended the meeting. HUDA     AL MANAE, Director of the Minors' Affairs and FAHAD AL BANNAI, Head of the Inheritances Section have also attended the meeting.
